AnaeCo is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 6th performance trial at the WMRC Stage 1 project.
The performance trials which commenced in late April 2009 involved conducting a series of six consecutive batch cycles whereby municipal solid waste (MSW) delivered to the WMRC waste transfer station is fed through the materials recoveryfacility (MRF) after which the organic fraction is delivered to the DiCOM® bioconversion vessel. Once inside the bioconversion vessel the DiCOM® process occurs (hybrid aerobic/anaerobic processing of organics) resulting in the production of bio gas and compost.
